Midegah is also the appointed Headman of the Deer Clan, Adik Doodem, of both the Mayan and Anishinaabe Peoples due to family historical ties. Appointed by his Grandmother Nokomis Oginiikwe Patricia Rose Brien-Brunelle-LaFountain on February 10, 2018 in Official Lodge at the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation, who was of lineal descent of the Star Woman bloodline to Jigonhasee who was chosen by the Great Peacemaker to lead the nations.
